In 1999, Founder Barb Schwarz had the vision and foresight to establish the first professional Association to serve the Home Staging industry. Patterned after other professional Associations - the National Association of Realtors and the National Speakers Association - IAHSP based its membership in excellence, education and ethics. It is also the only professional Home Staging Association that has hosted an annual Educational Symposium and Convention for six years, and the only association that has a non-profit IAHSP Foundation established to give back to communities and individuals in needs all over North America!
