I thought it might be fun for us to share photos of some of our "incredible" Staging finds in houses we work with - you know, those items that the seller is so proud of - the painting, sculpture, collection of items - they all have names and stories . . . but they all gotta go!
I have some doozies I have seen over the years! Here are just a couple I could dig up easily - and I am sure I can locate more!

Before: The INCREDIBLE and RARE - "Jacka-Phea-alope!" Found in the western states desert regions. Placed by the front door in a prime spot for all to see! (Staged - now in the closet!)

Before: Nude Sculptor with busts and bodies in yard as art, and all throughout the house! "Art to some - offenseive to others" - she agreed to put all but one naked sculpture away. I had to "John Ashcroft" the remaining piece with fabric. It worked.

Gee, Jennie, I can't believe you couldn't find a "place of honor" for that work of art....didn't they have a mantel? lol
I have a real doozie but I am going to keep everyone in suspense, for right now, because I am currently building a blog around it. I will give a heads up when I am ready to unveil it.
Great blog....I want to see more!
Marci - it's the old standard - "That's incredible tell me about that." And then if they don't already know it HAS to go - then we have the conversation about it being so amazing that buyers will be drawn into looking at IT and not the house. And we are selling the HOUSE and not the (Moose, jackapheasalope, naked sculpture, etc.). . . works every time!
I once had a client with BULL The moose - he and his daughter shot it on a trip together (how nice!). He was SO proud of Bull. He was the first "person" he greeted in the morning and the last "person" he said goodnight to. Incidentally, Bull hit the open road as they were moving to North Carolina! He just had to pack him up and move him early . . . I am sure Bull is happy in your neck of the woods!
Judy - Can't wait for the grand unveiling!!! - Jennie
Jennie --- You asked for it so here it is!
Can you imagine answering nature's call while staring into that face!
I still plan to feature it in an upcoming blog.
Oh My gosh!! That is too funny! Perhaps they had conversations while they were doing their thing . . . was the urinal actually IN a house or was this an office or ??? Where is the toilet? People are strange, that's all I have to say! - Jennie
I can't imagine having a urinal built in a house - amazing! That is truly a first for me - and I thought I'd seen it all! - Jennie
